The Vernon Township Clerk handles the following matters: 

  • Elections and voter registration

  • Budget and accounts payable

  • Human Resources and matters concerning employment with Vernon Township

  • Vernon Township Payroll

  • Liason to Planning Commission and Zoning Board of Appeals

  • Minutes for the Vernon Township Board

  • General township duties.

The township clerk DOES NOT handle any matters concerning property, taxes, building, accounts receivable, or residential zoning matters.  For any of these, please get in touch with our building inspector, township treasurer, or township assessor.
